YOUR ROLE

As an electrician at Esrange, you will be part of our property team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of technical systems at our spaceport. You will work both practically and administratively with installations, troubleshooting, inspections, and improvements of our electrical and property systems.

The work is varied, and you will move between different buildings and facilities on the site. You will work with fire alarms, access control, control and regulation systems, as well as electrical installations for low and high voltage, rounds, and planned inspections according to an annual plan. You will also play an important role in identifying and solving problems, planning work, and contributing to the development of our operations.

The role includes on-call duty according to a schedule, where you are part of the team that ensures our operations run around the clock.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for someone who is a trained electrician or has an equivalent technical background and thrives in an environment where no day is the same. You have a genuine technical interest, are curious, and enjoy solving problems, both independently and together with colleagues.

You are confident in taking your own initiatives and have the ability to structure your work even when ad hoc situations arise. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, and thrive in a role where you can contribute to both technical development and safe operations.

The role requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, a B driver's license, and experience working with Office programs and technical systems. Authorization as an electrician is an advantage.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Esrange spaceport outside Kiruna.
